Shelvis and the Roustabouts are a high-energy, female-fronted rock ’n’ roll band bringing together the swagger of rockabilly, the storytelling of Americana, the songs audiences love and an unmistakable personality all their own.
Led by powerhouse vocalist and entertainer Lori “Shelvis” Muha, the band has spent 15 years turning concerts into parties. Their show combines reimagined favorites from the golden age of rock ’n’ roll with unexpected mashups, original songs, humor and the kind of spontaneous audience interaction that makes every performance different.
This isn’t a band that simply plays for an audience. Shelvis brings the audience into the show.

After building a loyal following through 15 years of live performances, Shelvis and the Roustabouts are taking their distinctive show to bigger stages.
Recent highlights include Taste of Fort Collins and a 2026 appearance at Hollywood’s legendary Whisky a Go Go, opening for Max Weinberg’s Jukebox. The roots may be vintage. The show isn’t.
Shelvis and the Roustabouts draw inspiration from the pioneers of rock ’n’ roll—including Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly and Johnny Cash—but put their own stamp on the music.
Original songs are also an important part of the band's identity. Songs such as “2:00 AM at the Breakfast King,” “Dark Cloud,” “Danger Is Her Drug of Choice” and “Christmas in New Jersey” bring humor, storytelling and the band's personality into a sound rooted in American rock ’n’ roll.
